Academia / industry collaboration is a critical part of any business but more so in emerging technologies and sectors where innovation is critical and essential.
In May 2021 US Climate Envoy, John Kerry, stated on BBC TV that “50% of carbon emission reductions needed to get to net zero will come from technology not yet invented”.
The UK has four of the top ten ranked universities in the world and we need industry to collaborate with further and higher education institutions to help us on the journey to a net zero emissions economy and planet.
